Senior Pastor
Pastor Abner Rosario
Pastor Abner Rosario, Senior Pastor of East Side Tabernacle, was born and raised in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. After pursuing a successful career as a fashion designer, he was confronted by the Spirit of God to abandon that path and submit to the calling he had received at an early age. A former member of the Brooklyn Tabernacle, where he sang in the choir and sat under the teaching of Pastor Jim Cymbala, Pastor Rosario was ordained in 1998 and became pastor of East Side Tabernacle in 1993.
He and his wife, Catherine Rosario, have faithfully pastored East Side Tabernacle for over 35 years. Married for 44 years, they are blessed with a daughter, a son, and five grandchildren. Deeply passionate about prayer and seeking the Lord, Pastor Rosario continues to lead with humility, devotion, and a heart for God’s people in the very community where he was born and raised.
Executive Pastor
Pastor Eliot Diaz
Pastor Eliot Diaz was born and raised in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. He's been part of East Side Tabernacle since 1998 when he became born-again. He's served in every aspect of ministry at the church from children's church and youth ministry to adult education and preaching. He has an under-grad from Lancaster Bible College and is currently seeking the Lord to pursue his Masters of Divinity. He's been serving as an Associate Pastor since 2012 and now serves as Executive Pastor.
He and his wonderful wife Katia have been married since 2007 and have 3 wonderful children. Benjamin, Keziah, and Ariellah.
