Who We Are
What was once the world-famous club known as "The World" has now become the location of a vibrant Christian community known as East Side Tabernacle. Established in 1999, we are strategically placed between the projects of the Lower East Side and the booming East Village.
We are dedicated to preaching the Gospel and proclaiming God's presence in our city. Our commitment is to visibly showcase the glory of the invisible God.
Our Mission
East Side Tabernacle (EST) is a Non-Denominational Church united by the goal of glorifying God and making disciples. As a unified body of believers, we glorify God through our love and obedience to God and love for one another. We prioritize devotion to sound biblical doctrine, regular gathering, duty to the ordinances as commanded by the Lord Jesus, prayer and worship, obedience to the Great Commission, and commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our purpose to disciple people is reflected in sound biblical preaching & teaching, through biblical counseling & instruction, and through intentional relationships focused on growing in the Lord.
